The Town, along with the Montgomery County Police, would like to thank Sam and Judy Splaine, Splaine Security Systems, Inc., for their generous donation towards the purchase of two patrol bicycles. Mr. and Mrs. Splaine made the donation in memory and honor of their daughter, Christina Lee Splaine, a MCP School Resource Officer at Blair High School.

Officers Gotard (right) and Lyon (left) with the Montgomery County Police have been assigned to the bike patrols, and will november-2016-code-enforcement-001be active within the community.

We greatly appreciate the Montgomery County Police for offering this program and the Splaines for their donation!

The Town is once again a Toys-for-Tots drop-off location this holiday season. We ask that you please consider donating a new unwrapped toy by Thursday, December 15th.  In addition, the Town will be accepting monetary donations in lieu of toys on behalf of the Marine Toys-for-Tots foundation. toys-20for-20tots-smallDonation hours are 8:00 am– 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday until December 15th

Town Christmas Tree Lighting

Please join the Town on Sunday, December 11th, 5:30 pm, for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The Kensington Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD), along with Santa Claus, will arrive at 6:00 pm. There will be music, cider, and cookies for all.

Town Menorah Lighting

Please join the Town on Saturday, December 24th, 3:00 pm—4:30 pm, for the annual Menorah Lighting. There will be music, cider, and cookies for all.
