Light Up KTown 2The Town of Kensington has partnered with KTown Ladies to bring the TOK residents the 1st annual seasonal lighting ceremony to be held on December 3rd. Please join us for the lighting ceremony, hot drinks and custom keepsake mugs, fire pit s’mores, and the announcement of the house decorating contest… you won’t want to miss it!
House Decorating Contest Details
Award Categories:
- The Griswold Award: Most decorated (best total house & yard décor)
- Winter Wonderland Award: Most creative design
- It’s a Wonderful Life Award: Best classic decoration
- Traffic Stopper: Wow! Your house is so lit your neighbor is annoyed
Contest Rules:
- Register at ktownladies.org
- Registration deadline: December 10 (COB)
- Email photo of house to initiatives@ktownladies.org by Dec 15
- Registered houses must be within boundaries of Town of Kensington
- Judging will take place on Dec 16
- Winners announced on Dec 17
Registered participants give permission for their door/home to be photographed and posted on social media and official websites. Participants agree to hold harmless the Town of Kensington for any incidents that may occur directly or indirectly because of the Light Up KTown house decorating contest.
