Courtney Applequist is an interdisciplinary artist working in the greater Washington, DC area. Her work explores a range of media, navigating the possibilities of painting and drawing using architecture as a foundational framework and asserting a visualization of movement, time and the debris as a consequence of it.
Sharon Wolpoff is an oil painter working in Kensington, MD. She earned both BA and MFA degrees from American University in Washington, DC. She has earned multiple awards from the Maryland State Arts Council and was awarded the David Kreeger purchase award at American University. She has also studied at Penland and the Tyler School of Art in Rome. Her solo exhibitions include the University of Maryland, American University, The National Institutes of Health, and Capricorn Gallery. She has exhibited in multiple group shows around the United States. This is her first show with Adah Rose Gallery.
