29th Noyes StoryWalk® is a Fresh-Picked Feast!
The 29th StoryWalk® is also the 2nd Noyes PoetryWalk, featuring Fresh Picked Poetry: A Day at the Farmers’ Market, by Michelle Schaub. Eighteen delightfully illustrated poems follow two new friends and their canine companions on an adventure through their Farmers’ Market. The book highlights many of the features of local markets, including Kensington’s own year-round Saturday Farmers’ Market at the Train Station. The PoetryWalk will run from April 19 – April 28, 2024, along Howard Ave.and Fawcett St. Kensington, MD, starting at Modern Mobler at 3730 Howard Ave., Kensington.
This PoetryWalk is presented in collaboration with the 17th Annual Kensington Day of the Book Festival, taking place on Sunday, April 21 from 11am to 4pm along Howard Avenue in historic Kensington, MD. A true family event, Kensington Day of the Book includes author appearances, special guest speakers, poetry readings, cookbook demos, children’s program, live music, and much more.
