24th Noyes StoryWalk® “Leaves” Everything to the Imagination

For its 24th free Noyes StoryWalk®, The Noyes Children’s Library Foundation presents If You Find a Leaf, written and illustrated by Aimée Sicuro.

Families can enjoy this perfect fall story on posted signs at Warner Circle Park in Kensington, MD from Friday, October 13 to Sunday, November 12, 2023. However, on Saturday, October 28 the ®StoryWalk will pause for the Pumpkin Rock N’ Roll. Warner Circle Park is located at 10231 Carroll Place, right across the street from the Noyes Children’s Library in historic Kensington, MD.

If You Find a Leaf follows a child collecting fall leaves while she imagines what each different leaf could be. The story celebrates the changing season and “encourages children to let every leaf spark a new idea.” In addition to the related crafts and activities posted on the Foundation’s website, the StoryWalk® includes an invitation for families to find the featured leaves and trees in Kensington’s parks and neighborhoods.
